Mumbai: Casting director Seher Ali Latif, known for his work in films like “The Lunchbox” and “Durgmati”, died on Monday at the age of 40 due to a heart attack. His colleague and director Neeraj Udhwani has informed about the death of Seher Aly Latif Passes Away. In addition to casting direction, Sahar was also the co-founder of a production company Mutant Films. Sahar Latif has been a part of Swara Bhaskar starrer Netflix series “Bhaag Beni Bhaag” and Manisha Koirala Abhineet “Maska” as well as many other big films.
Giving information about the death of Sahar Ali Latif, Neeraj Udhwani, who directed ‘Maska’, said that he was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai eight days ago due to kidney failure. He said- ‘Due to some infection, Sahar’s kidney had failed. Due to which he was admitted last weekend. She was on antibiotics and was recovering. But today he had a cardiac arrest and suddenly everything was over.

Sahar Latif is known for his stellar work as a casting director in films such as the mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan’s biopic “The Man Who Knew Infinity”. Dev Patel played the lead role in this film. Also known for his work in filmmaker Gurinder Chadha’s ‘Viceroy’s House’ and Bhumi Pednekar starrer ‘Durgamati’.
