Chinese Ambassador Sun Weidong said that no country can face the many challenges facing mankind alone. Weidong said the pandemic again showed that no country or nation can be safe from the virus and that the fate of mankind is more closely linked than ever by maintaining close ties.
New Delhi. Chinese Ambassador Sun Weidong said on Wednesday that cooperation between countries is like a “bridge” to achieve development and that no country can face the many challenges facing mankind alone.
According to the Chinese embassy, the ambassador said in an online dialogue with the ‘Confederation of Young Leaders and Students’ that only openness, inclusivity and cooperation in the interest of all is the right way for mankind to move forward. “If development is the goal, then cooperation is the bridge to reach there,” he said.

Referring to the COVID crisis, Weidong said the pandemic has again shown that no country or nation can be safe from the virus and the fate of mankind is more closely tied to maintaining close ties than ever before.
