Addressing a digital meeting amidst the threat of Corona virus infection, Singh said that at a time when the country is facing a challenge like Kovid-19, political parties should unite and fight against the epidemic on a war footing instead of criticizing it. needed.
Jitendra Singh, Minister of State in the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, started the Kovid “Seva” program at the seven Panchayat site in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday to mark the completion of seven years of the Modi government.
Drought rations, sanitizers, face masks, oximeters and other relief supplies were provided to hundreds of needy people at all places in different districts. The event was attended by prominent leaders, District Development Council (DDC) presidents and party representatives. Addressing a gathering organized on the occasion, Singh said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has, in the last seven years, shared the true spirit of “Antyodaya”. The Union Minister also expressed satisfaction that Kovid’s position is almost under control and stable in all the six districts of his parliamentary constituency as compared to other parts of the Union Territory.
The Union Minister said that according to the data available in the Union Territory, about 67 to 70 percent vaccination has been done for people above 45 years, which is more than the national average. He said that this is an encouraging sign that people in the entire union territory are coming forward to vaccinate Kovid-19 without any hesitation.
