Uttar Pradesh News: Lucknow’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Sanjay Bhatnagar told that the sero survey will run for 3 days in the capital. The sero survey will run till June 4, 5 and 6. In Lucknow, samples of a total of 1434 people will be taken.
Lucknow. After slowing down the pace of Corona (COVID-19), the work of ‘Sero Survey’ will be started in Uttar Pradesh from Friday (June 4). It will be found out from the survey that how much population has been infected with corona? What percentage of people have developed hard immunity towards corona? The blood sample of the people selected in the sero survey will be taken and it will be sent for examination. The samples of sero survey in Lucknow will be sent to King George’s Medical University (KGMU) for examination. In this survey, the presence of antibodies fighting the corona virus in the body of people is detected.
In the first wave of Corona i.e. in 2020 also, in the month of September, the Health Department conducted sero survey in 11 districts. The survey was conducted in Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Agra, Prayagraj, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Kaushambi, Baghpat and Moradabad. At that time, antibodies were found in 22.1 percent of the people in the sero survey in 11 districts.
Survey will run for 3 days in Lucknow
According to Lucknow’s Chief Medical Officer Dr Sanjay Bhatnagar, sero survey will run for 3 days in the capital. The sero survey will run till June 4, 5 and 6. In Lucknow, samples of a total of 1434 people will be taken. So far 2,38,765 people have become corona positive in Lucknow. A sero survey is also being conducted to find out community infection of corona. According to CMO Dr. Sanjay Bhatnagar, samples will be taken for sero survey for three days. Samples of 1434 people will be taken. The Health Department has sent rules and regulations for those who come under the scanner. Under the same samples will be taken.How will the survey be done?
People of all ages have been included in the survey. Blood samples of youth, elderly, women as well as people living in slums will also be taken. The report will be prepared after examining the samples in KGMU. Like the samples taken last year, all the reports coming from KGMU will be sent to the top officials of the health department, after which the government will have to decide how hard immunity has arisen among the people in the second wave of corona?
