New Delhi. More than an hour’s meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was focused on the state’s corona management and development projects. Sources say that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has praised the state government for the prevention of the corona epidemic.
In the official statement, the UP government has said – CM told the PM how the model of tracing, testing and treatment was followed during the second wave of corona in the state. By adopting this model, the second wave was successfully controlled. Yogi Adityanath also thanked the Prime Minister for providing the vaccine for the age group of 18 to 44. The CM thanked the PM for extending the PM Garib Kalyan Yojana till Deepawali. He said that this would benefit about 15 crore people in the state.

Exemption given to industries during the Corona period
The CM has also informed that keeping in mind the employment and livelihood in the state, a limited amount of curfew was imposed as compared to other states. During this, the industries continued to work following the Corona guidelines and the procurement of wheat also continued. The CM informed that keeping in mind the interests of the farmers, the Kisan Mandis and sugar mills were allowed to continue running. He thanked him for increasing the fertilizer subsidy by 140 percent and increasing the minimum support price on crops.

The CM also informed that the poor were taken care of in the state during Corona. About 23 lakh laborers were given one thousand rupees every month. Whereas 14 lakh daily laborers and street vendors will also be given the same amount. He told that instructions have been given to speed up the work under MNREGA. Under this, 17 lakh laborers will get work.
Thanks to the center regarding oxygen supply
CM Yogi has also thanked the Center for the oxygen supply. Also thanked for the oxygen generation plants being set up through the PM Cares Fund. He also informed that most of the testing in UP is being done in rural areas. After March 31, 70 percent of the testing in the state has been done in rural areas.
UP cabinet minister denies media reports
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Siddharth Nath Singh has objected to some reports published in the media related to CM Yogi’s visit to Delhi, calling them ‘wrong and misleading’.
