Sonipat, Jagran Correspondent. A case of malpractices by a student has come to light on the very first day itself in the graduation and postgraduate examinations. Actually, a student prepared a false report of corona virus to avoid offline examination. On being suspicious, BK Garg, the principal of Hindu College, confirmed it from the concerned lab, then the report turned out to be fake. Now the management has decided to check the report of all the students who have sought the offline exam. Only then will a decision on permission be taken.
During the final semester examination of undergraduate and postgraduate at Hindu College on Friday, a graduate student from Ganaur sought permission for the online examination by claiming himself to be corona infected. The student also sent his corona infected report. When college principal Dr. BK Garg contacted Lal Path Lab to investigate the report, it came to the fore that this report is fake. The student has taken the report of a corona infected and changed his name on it in the college.
31 students have sought permission from the principal to take the online examination in Hindu College. Out of these, 25 students have submitted the report of corona infection, while six students have sought permission for online examination citing other reasons. After this incident, the college management has decided that the corona report of all 25 students will also be investigated.
According to Dr. BK Garg (Principal, Hindu College, Sonepat), these days the examinations are being conducted through offline mode after the decrease in the cases of corona. Only corona infected have been given exemption from online examination. The student has been given permission for offline examination by warning. The students who have given the report of corona infection for taking the online examination will also be examined.
