Decision on JEE-Main and NEET UG soon, here is the update

New Delhi. The Union Education Ministry can take a decision on JEE Mains and NEET UG examinations soon. According to the news quoting a senior official, the pandemic situation is being reviewed to decide on the schedule of JEE-Mains and NEET UG examinations. The senior official said the situation is being reviewed. So that a decision can be taken on the schedule of two sessions pending JEE-Mains and medical test NEET UG on August 1. This time JEE-Mains is being conducted four times, giving relief to the students facing many difficulties due to Corona epidemic. Its first session was held in February, second in March.

The examinations of April and May session were postponed by NTA i.e. National Testing Agency. Apart from this, the JEE-Advanced exam was also postponed. It was to be held on July 3. Similarly, there is still a state of indecision on NEET-UG examinations. The NEET-UG was scheduled to begin on May 1. But the exam could not be conducted due to the pandemic. Apart from this, the Union Education Ministry is yet to take a decision on the Central University Common Entrance Test (CUCET). It is also to be organized through NTA. Admission is to be done in central universities across the country through CUCET.

JEE-Mains may be held in the second week of August

Earlier, sources were quoted in media reports as saying that the NTA would announce the schedule by the end of the month after reviewing the current situation. As the number of corona infected people continues to decline across the country, many experts are of the opinion that JEE Main 2021 exam may be conducted in the third week of July or the second week of this also
