New Delhi. Indian Coast Guard (IGC) has invited applications for the posts of Navik (General Duty), Navik (Domestic Branch) and Mechanical. 10th and 12th pass youth willing to join Indian Coast Guard can apply. According to the recruitment notification released by the Indian Coast Guard, there are a total of 350 vacancies. The application process for this will start from July 2 and will run till July 16, 2021. Applications will be able to apply by visiting the Indian Coast Guard’s website joinindiancoastguard.gov.in. According to the notification, for the post of Sailor General Duty, the candidate must have passed 12th with Mathematics and Physics subjects from a recognized board. Whereas for other posts, it is necessary for the candidate to be 10th pass.

Navik (Domestic Branch) – 50 Posts
Yantrik (Mechanical) – 20 Posts
Mechanical (Electrical) – 13 Posts
Mechanic (Electronics) – 07 Posts

Educational qualification-

Sailor (General Duty) – For the post of Sailor Navik (General Duty) in Coast Guard, the candidate must have passed 12th with Mathematics and Physics subjects from any recognized board.
Navik (Domestic Branch) – For this post, candidates must have passed 10th from a recognized board.
Mechanical – 10th pass for this post with Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics and Second Communication (Radio/Power) Engineering from a college recognized by All India Council of Technical Education.

Age Range-

The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 22 years.
For Sailor GD and Mechanical, candidates should be born between 1 February 2000 to 31 January 2004.
– Candidate should be born between 1st April 2000 to 31st January 2004 for Sailor Domestic Branch.

Application fee- 250 Rs. Application is free for SC/ST candidates.

Selection Process

The selection process of the candidates will be in three stages. First of all there will be a written test. After this merit list will be prepared and then there will be physical fitness test. There will also be a medical test in this. After this there will be document verification in the third stage.
