New Delhi. The validity of the Teacher Eligibility Test (Certificate) has been extended. Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has announced to increase the eligibility validity of TET. According to the Union Education Minister, this will be a big positive step in increasing employment opportunities for the candidates making a career in the field of becoming a teacher.

TET will be valid for life
Now the teacher eligibility test qualification certificate will be valid for life. Earlier this validity would be for seven years, which has now been extended for life time. According to various media reports, according to the statement of the Ministry of Education, this decision has been implemented since 10 years ago. For example, those whose certificates have expired after 2011. All those teachers will be considered eligible for the recruitment examinations.

new certificate will be issued
According to the Education Minister, the period of seven years for the candidates whose TET qualification certificate has expired.
