New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that the schedule for the first term general examinations for Classes 10 and 12 will be released on Thursday (October 14, 2021). Once published, students can view the examination schedule on the Central Board’s official website or for details.

The first term general examinations for CBSE Classes 10,12 are scheduled to be held in November-December 2021. The Central Board has said that there will be multiple choice questions called MCQ which will cover only the first half of the syllabus.

“The first term general examinations for Classes 10 and 12 will be held offline; the schedule for this will be announced on October 18. The Term-1 General Examinations for Classes 10 and 12 will be an objective category examination with a 90-minute grace period,” the CBSE said.

Earlier, the CBSE had said that the Class 10 and 12 Board Exams for the 2021-22 academic year would be held in two seasons. According to the official announcement, each session will ask questions from a limited syllabus (50 percent of the entire syllabus).

According to reports, the first session of the general election will be held in November-December 2021. CBSE plans to hold the second session of the general examination in March-April 2022.
