New Delhi. Chris Green, who played only one match in the last season of IPL for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), created a ruckus in a match of Vitality Blast. Playing for Middlesex, he took 5 wickets for 32 runs against Kent. Green took 4 out of 5 wickets in the last over of the innings, taking a hat-trick off the last three balls.
Coming to bat first, Kent scored 178 for 8 in the allotted over. Kent’s batsmen faltered in the last over in front of Green’s bowling. He made his victims Alex Black, Jack Lenning, Jordan Cox, Darren Stevens and Matt Milnes.

Green created a ruckus with his bowling, but his performance came to the fore in the last over. By then Kent had made a respectable score. In response to Kent’s target of 179 runs, Middlesex could only manage 162 runs in the stipulated over and lost the match by 16 runs. Talking about Green’s last over, he got Jordan caught by Holden on the very first ball. Lenning took two runs on the next ball and then hit a six on the third ball of the over. Seeing such a shot in the last over, Green looked unhappy with himself and then in the next three balls, he did wonders by taking three wickets. On the fourth ball of the last over, Green ended Lanning’s innings. Darren Stevens on the fifth ball and Milnes was dismissed on the last ball of the innings. However, the middlesex batsmen spoiled his excellent bowling.
