New Delhi. The Indian cricket team is going to face New Zealand in the final (WTC Final) of the World Test Championship against New Zealand on 18 June. Before this match, head coach Ravi Shastri has said that the winner of such a big tournament should not be decided by a final. Ravi Shastri said that there should be a final of 3 matches in the World Test Championship. This is called Best of 3, in which there are three matches between the teams reaching the final and the team winning 2 matches is declared the winner.

Ravi Shastri said before leaving for England tour, ‘Test championship final should have been a 3-match series. It is not right to decide from just one match. We are ready for a match too. We have worked hard to reach this final. Not just Australia and England, we have pulled ourselves out of tough times on several occasions and we have won the series.

Virat Kohli said – no pressure of final

Team India captain Virat Kohli is also all set for the World Test Championship. Virat Kohli said that there is no pressure on him for the final. He said, ‘We have worked hard for 5-6 years and then we have reached the final. We will enjoy this final. My job is to take Indian cricket forward, as long as I am playing cricket, this will be my aim, there has never been any pressure on me and never will be. For us, it only matters how much the team is helping each other.
