New Delhi. Joe Clarke of Nottinghamshire created a ruckus by scoring 136 runs in 65 balls against Northamptonshire in the vitality blast. He hit 6 fours and 11 sixes in this stormy innings. The second best score of Nottinghamshire’s innings was 24 runs, which Peter Trego scored. Clarke alone scored more runs than 8 players. Apart from Clark of Nottinghamshire, the remaining 8 players could only score 67 runs.
Nottinghamshire, who came out to bat first, scored 214 for 7 in the prescribed over on the basis of Clarke’s stormy century. Apart from Clarke, Peter, Alex Hales 14, Samit Patel 11 could only touch double figures. None of the other batsmen could score more than 8 runs.
