KKR captain Eoin Morgan and head coach Brendon McCullum have been embroiled in a controversy due to an old tweet. The England Cricket Board is investigating Morgan’s old tweets. Morgan and Rajasthan Royals player Jos Buttler made fun of Indians in the year 2018.
New Delhi. Old social media posts may upset some of the IPL legends overseas. The KKR franchise can take tough steps against Kolkata Knight Riders captain Eoin Morgan and head coach Brendon McCullum. It has emerged that Morgan, Jos Buttler and McCallum were making fun of the Indian accent. In the year 2018, England’s ODI-T20 captain Morgan and wicket-keeper batsman Jos Buttler used the word ‘sir’ to make fun of Indian fans. Later, McCallum joined the conversation between the two. Some of the people involved have apparently deleted the post but a screenshot of their conversation has already surfaced.

Recently, the England Board has suspended Ollie Robinson from international cricket due to objectionable tweet.

ECB will expand probe into tweet controversy
Two days ago, the ECB issued a statement in this matter saying that we have become alert after the case of Ollie Robinson.
